Sheila K. Robello, J.D., L.L.M. - Owner

Sheila Robello is the principal of Bay Area Probate & Estate Law. Ms. Robello has been licensed to practice in California since 2000 and in Hawaii since 2001. Ms. Robello specializes in Conservatorships, Trust Administration and Litigation, and Estate Planning. Ms. Robello holds an LLM in Taxation from Golden Gate University, and is certified as a specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law by the State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization. Ms. Robello is a member of Inns of Court and the Trust & Estates section of the CA Bar Association, the San Francisco Bar Association, the San Mateo Bar Association. Prior to joining Bay Area Probate & Estate Law, Ms. Robello served as an associate policy director and legislative analyst for a national non-profit organization.

Vincent Yu has been licensed to practice law in California since 2014. Prior to joining Bay Area Probate & Estate Law, he was with O’Neil & Rueppel, another San Francisco Trust and Estates firm, handling both administration and litigation matters, with a litigation focus on financial elder abuse and breach of fiduciary duties.
Vincent holds a BA in Philosophy with a minor in Religious Studies from UC Riverside, and graduated from Whittier Law School with a Certificate in Intellectual Property Law, focusing on rights of privacy and publicity. He received his LLM in Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine University with a personal focus on cross-cultural disputes and disputes related to Trust and Estates matters. He also holds a Certificate of Completion under the State of California Dispute Resolutions Program Act for mediation training through the Asian Pacific American Dispute Resolution Center in Los Angeles, and has helped resolve inter-family, community, and small business disputes. When not in the office, Vincent continues his over 25 years of study of the martial arts, and occasionally takes on a private student.
Alyssa V. Daatio, J.D. – Attorney
Alyssa Daatio has been licensed to practice law in California since 2020. Prior to joining Bay Area Probate & Estate Law, Alyssa worked at notable Trusts and Estates firms, where she gained extensive experience representing various clients, including private professional fiduciaries, in all areas of probate law: contested probate proceedings, conservatorships, guardianships, and estate planning.
Alyssa obtained a bachelor’s degree in Sociology/Law and Society from UC Riverside in 2013 and received the department’s Academic Excellence Award for her major. Alyssa earned her J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 2019, where she graduated with a Public Interest Law Certificate and as the recipient of the Pursuit of Justice Award, given to one graduating student for their demonstrated commitment to provide service to others through legal experience, community and volunteer service, and service to the law school and students. While in law school, Alyssa interned at various non-profits in the Bay Area, such as Asian Law Alliance, Public Advocates, and the ACLU of Northern California.
Alyssa is a Bay Area native. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her dog, Frankie, hiking, watching basketball, managing her Fantasy Basketball League, listening to true crime podcasts, and baking. She also speaks conversational Tagalog.
Thomas Mupoperi - Legal Assistant and Marketing Specialist
Thomas is a seasoned digital marketer and legal assistant, committed to curating unforgettable experiences. Armed with a Bsc (Hons) in International Marketing, he boasts a profound grasp of the global market. During his tenure at Dubai's renowned Emaar, the largest Property Developer and leading hospitality group in the UAE, he shone as a Leisure Sales and Marketing Specialist for four years. His impressive portfolio includes managing key relationships with iconic establishments like the Burj Khalifa, Armani Hotel Dubai, Address Hotels & Resorts, and other prestigious brands. Thomas earned a 2020 marketing certification in International Marketing from Yonsei University in South Korea, alongside certifications from Google Marketing Academy and HubSpot Academy, reinforcing his digital prowess. Beyond his professional pursuits, he thrives on maintaining an active lifestyle, whether it's hitting the gym, embarking on invigorating hikes, cycling scenic routes, or exploring captivating wine farms, always prioritizing his well-being.
Diane Riga - Accountant
Diane has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration and Accounting from University of Phoenix, San Jose Campus. She specializes in multiple industries with a strong background in Legal Firms. Diane has owned her Accounting Firm since 2010. She specializes in Cost Accounting and Accounting Solutions with a strong focus on Cash Management. Diane enjoys kickboxing, Qigong, and quality time with family and friends.
Corbin Betleyoun - Paralegal
Corbin Betleyoun has a Bachelor’s of Science in Anthropology and a Minor in Spanish from Appalachian State University and received his paralegal education certificate from UNC Chapel Hill. Prior to joining Bay Area Probate Law he worked in immigration law where he helped immigrants navigate an often complicated legal system. He has focused much of his professional career on an empathetic approach to client needs and believes in trying his best to make complicated processes more clear to clients. In his spare time he enjoys playing and modifying his guitars, hiking, and spending time with animals.

Ishmael Karim has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley. Before joining Bay Area Probate and Estate Law, he worked at a political law firm that provided services to clients running campaigns for public office in San Mateo County. His experience in the legal field has been built on attention to detail and providing the best possible service to clients. In his free time, he enjoys cycling and exploring the various bike trails in the Bay Area.

Hope Marshall
Hope earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Minor in Marketing from the University of Southern California in May 2025. She expanded her interest in international studies through an immersive program in Lithuania focused on regional economic development and entrepreneurship. While at USC, she also worked in the Undergraduate International Programs Office, where she supported global program operations and helped lead orientation programming for incoming exchange students.
Hope is a Bay Area native. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, traveling, baking, and hiking. An avid animal lover, she spends much of her free time with her dog and cat.
